Philosophy

Athletics at Manassas Park Middle School represent an opportunity for students to engage in activities that enhance their physical, socio-emotional, and mental development.

Participation in MPMS athletics is a privilege that comes with responsibilities. Students must meet personal and academic standards in order to participate. Athletics at MPMS are open to all students who meet and maintain the standards of academic eligibility, are good citizens, and meet basic physical health qualifications. Athletes are expected to exhibit the highest level of conduct both on and off the field and to show respect for everyone they come in contact with at MPMS: coaches and school staff, teammates, game officials, opponents, and spectators.
